Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw’s business area lies between the metropolitan centers of Stuttgart and Karlsruhe. More than 480,000 people live in the catchment area.
Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw is one of the major Sparkassen in Germany – Number 7 – and is the largest in Baden-Württemberg. It operates via a modern network of branches in its business area.

With the largest number of apprentices in the Northern Black Forest region, it largely covers its own personnel requirements from within. Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw was awarded the “Excellent Training Company” quality seal by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Northern Black Forest in recognition of its high training quality. Occupational health management is just as important as flexible working hours and part-time working models. Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw regards a healthy work-life balance as particularly important.
Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw pursues a consistently sustainable business policy. For example, it pays particular attention to the conscious conservation of the environment and resources. When refurbishing or constructing new buildings, it insists on energyefficient materials and on the use of renewable energies. It offers products in both deposit and lending business to finance sustainable ethical, social and ecological investment projects in the region. It is also committed to barrier-free banking. 55 branches currently carry the “Seniorenfreundlicher Service” seal from the Senior Citizens Council of the State of Baden-Württemberg, in recognition of their efforts to take account of the banking needs of the elderly.
